30/09/2015: Temporary Desktop Service Interruption

Further to yesterday's issue, we experienced intermittent connection problems with our Desktop platform between 16:30 and 17:15 (approximately).

This will have affected users' Desktops, Exchange Server accounts, VPN connections and some websites.

From our diagnostic tests after yesterday's DDOS attack, we determined that our routers required a hard reboot, which we had scheduled to do late this evening during a period of low or no demand.

As the symptoms recurred, we brought forward the hard reboot rather than wait until later and it has now been done.  The Desktop services should now all be back to normal.  We will continue our diagnostic tests and monitor the situation.
