23/10/2012: Platform Effectively Inaccessible

The platform was responding very slowly during the period 13:30 to 16:50 making it effectively inaccessible. This was caused by the resynchronising of the RAID array of disks that host the operating system of our primary domain controller server. The resynchronising will continue during this evening, after which we will investigate the cause of this problem.
